Recently I had a dream that I believe will change my life. It was vivid and when I woke up, I began typing out everything I could remember: words that were shared, images, people. Through doing this, I was able to understand its meaning for my life.

He walks a few miles every morning at the time when you and I are just turning over. Before COVID, he was on the 7:00 am bus to Manhattan at least three days out of the week just to hang out or to shop. So, you see, it’s not his health I’m worried about.

He was sitting at a bus stop completely unaware of his impending fate. He was the only person who didn’t run for cover fast enough when the shots rang out. His assassin was never found.
